Job Description

The sports data journalist's main responsibility involves consuming live sporting events in order to record events using our mobile applications. Our system is based on a unique, fully automated data extraction and supervision technology for the highest quality standard, combined with a complex scout and video signal monitoring system. The data collection will be done from the venue therefore we seek applicants from all across the USA. Applicants need to begin in an unpaid simulated training environment until he/she proves capable of scouting an event due to our quality requirements. The training requires the applicant to cover an online match as if they were covering from the venue. Training takes 1-2 attempts depending on the level of sports knowledge. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Watch major sporting events and record events in real-time for statistic gathering. Remain knowledgeable of the rules of the sport and the teams/players involved. Comply with the moral code of the profession. Observe kick-off times, and venue details and inform us when there are changes. PAYMENT Payment is competitive. Compensation is based on a match-by-match basis dependent on the successful completion of the data collection.
